The Story

Golf has a habit of making people feel like they don't belong. Wrong clothes, wrong club, wrong handicap, wrong age, wrong background. ChippedIn exists to push back on that.


We cover the game honestly. The brilliant rounds and the humbling ones, the courses worth travelling for, and the things nobody tells beginners but everybody wishes they'd known sooner.

 

Getting more people into golf, women, juniors, complete non-golfers who've never considered it, people who tried once and felt like it wasn't for them, sits at the heart of everything we do.

 

Not as a token gesture. Because golf is genuinely worth it and too many people never find that out.


The consulting runs alongside. I bring 30 years of senior leadership across financial services, tech and FMCG to golf clubs ready to think differently about strategy, revenue and operations.

Anyone who plays golf, wants to start, or runs a golf club. Whether you are a seasoned player, a complete beginner, a woman who has been told the game is not really for you, or a junior just finding your feet, there is something here for you. The consulting side is for golf clubs ready to think seriously about growth, revenue and operations.

What kind of content does ChippedIn produce?

Honest course reviews, real talk about the game at every level, and content focused on making golf more accessible for new players and underrepresented groups. No recycled tips, no performance, no pretending the game is easier than it is.

What is The 1000?

An attempt to play 1,000 different UK mainland golf courses in 1,000 days. Every course documented honestly along the way. The goal is to raise £1 per club member for every course played, with proceeds going to Dementia UK and the Golf Foundation. Public launch summer 2026. More details coming soon.
